John and Sonia didn’t want a traditional wedding day. They wanted to jump on a plane and fly to the canadian rockies just the two of them. The Banff area has been a bucket list location for them, and they couldn’t have dreamt of a better spot to pick for their non tradition elopement day.
They started their day by getting ready together before meeting me at our ceremony location at Natural Bridge, in Yoho National Park. There were quite a few tourists around, so we put on our grippy hiking boots and headed off the main trail through the forest and down the rocks to find ourselves a secluded beach that was absolute perfection for them to read their handwritten vows to one another.
After exchanging the sweets love notes with each other and wrapping up the ceremony with Angela from https://urbanofficiant.com/ off we went to doucment couples portraits around in different photo locations in the Yoho national park.
