This gorgeous, intimate Nova Scotia wedding took place right beside the ocean at the exclusive Fox Harbour Resort. Tucked back away by the ocean just a few hours from Halifax, it is the perfect ocean wedding venue! Wait until you see these Nova Scotia Wedding photos; you’ll know exactly what I mean!
While living in Calgary at the time, Vaughn and Amanda planned this as a destination wedding. With their roots being from Nova Scotia, it was perfect for them! They have family from all over Canada, and recently moved from Calgary to Toronto so going back home where everyone could be together for their Nova Scotia wedding day was so very special for them!
They wanted somewhere easy and relaxed for their wedding venue, and this was perfect for them. You never know what you expect for a November wedding in Nova Scotia, but besides some wind by the ocean, it was an incredibly beautiful and warm day for everyone! We scheduled their couple photos to work around sunset time and it was breathtaking. I 100% recommend making sure you allot time in your wedding day to incorporate photos at sunset. If that means sneaking away for 10 minutes from it, just do it! They will likely be your favourite photos from your day. :)

Not to mention, some of the resort amenities include a full spa, breathtaking golf course, beautiful vineyard and even a private runway if you want to fly directly to there.
Nova Scotia Wedding Photo Locations: If you’re concerned with where you’ll take all your wedding photos, there’s no need to worry! You have access to the full property with a variety of gorgeous backdrop options within walking distance. Incuded in that is the gorgeous open water views by the lighthouse tower!
The Vineyards: Just a short drive down the road are a gorgeous field full of vineyards that make the most stunning sunset photo locations in Nova Scotia! We made sure to add this as a photo location for their wedding photos near Fox Habour at sunset. It was the perfect spot for their couples photos before heading back to the Fox Harbour Resort for their evening wedding reception right on the property.
