Calgary Maternity Photoshoot

Sky and Jared are expecting their first little one this summer, yay! The fact that they are family makes it just that much more exciting for everyone. They wanted to do a photo session for their baby girl announcement to the world. Their fur children Jasper and Kenya obviously 100% had to be a part of the shoot. Having your puppies in your baby announcement is mandatory, right? ;) Look at Jaspers face, he is SO excited to have a little sister. hahaha!

The weather outside was cold, snowy, and mucky so we opted to do an in home styled maternity/baby announcement photo session. My “Studio” was my tiny little in home office which just happened to be a super soft baby cream/pink color. When I say tiny, I mean it. I wish you could see some behind the scenes photos from this, I was 100% sitting/standing on my desk for lots of these photos. haha This just goes to show you, you don’t have to have the dream photography studio to make some beautiful styled images happen. Use what you have around you, your creativity, and get to taking photos.
